How do I do perimeter of Irregular shapes?

Well, because this is a parallelogram, the sides opposite from each other are equal. So we know that the 2 short sides measure 6 , and also that the diameter of that semicircle circle is 6.
By knowing the diameter of the circle, we can figure out the circumference of the circle using the formula C= 2 x Pi x radius.
Once you have the circumference, divide it in half ( because its a half circle) and add that measurement to the perimeter of the parallelogram :
Circumference ( 1/2) + 6 + 6 + 14 + 14 = total perimeter :)
