The exceptions are the alkali metals and the ammonium ion.
OH−,S−2,CO3S−2, and PO−34 O H − , S − 2 , C O 3 S − 2 , a n d P O 4 − 3 will generally form precipitates with the exceptions being when the cations are: Li+,Na+,K+.
