A truck can be rented from company A for $130 a day plus $0.20 per mile. Company B charges $80 a day plus $0.30 per mile to rent the same truck. How many ,iles must be driven in a day to make the rental cost for company A a better deal than company B's ?

Answer :

let's take the miles as x to reach the same cost.

130 + 0.2x = 80 + 0.3x
50 = 0.1x
x = 500 miles

so when you are travelling more than 500 miles company A is better than company B
