Menstrual cramps are just pains in the stomach in lower back due to a women menstruating. These pains can be dull or they can be so bad that they woman may vomit because of the stabbing pain. Vaginitis is an inflammation of the vagina that can result in discharge, itching, and pain.
Vaginitis is usually caused by a change in the normal balance of vaginal bacteria, an infection, or reduced estrogen levels after menopause.
