2x + 60 = 0

2x= -60

x=-30

B) Simplify to solve the problem, it is the simplest way to find the answer:
8x+8x-5=0
16x-5=0
16x=-5
x=-3.2  (Ok this one is probably wrong, but y'a know...)

C) 4x- 12x+5=0
-8x=-5
8x=5
x=1.6    (Ok seriously how'd I mess up)

Question: When you say 2x2 do you mean 2 times 2 or 2x times 2?
