They say that preparing for war can lead to fewer wars, but doesn't constantly building for war make war more likely? It seems to me that being ready for war at all times may lead someone in a place of power to decide that the "time has come," at which point they start a war (this scenario has played out a few times). Doesn't being unprepared make a country less likely to start a war? (WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST)

We all have different opinions but i get it, preparing for war and defeating the enemy can stop them from challenging other countries and maybe warn the other allied countries about the tremendous power, a country being unprepared will be captured by the enemy, and encourage the other's to do the same
