1. Various words are in bold print throughout the graphic novel. Why do you believe the words on page 9 are in bold print (burst, frightful, fire, old, beautiful, disappeared, nothing, blasted, and stump)?
I think the words are in bold print to help emphasize them and add a bigger meaning to them. Or because those words meant something or have a meaning to the author.
