you make a rectangle and put 100 on the end at the top and the number that your finding the percent of on the bottom at the end and then divide the rectangle into the parts like if your finding 20% of 100 then you divide it by five and add 20 but with harder numbers you just make the percent a decimal then muiltiply it by the number your finding the percent of hope it helps
