Is this question for Romeo & Juliet? If so...In Act I Scene 1, when two servants, one from each of the feuding
houses, get into a fight, Benvolio tries to break it up and calls to
Tybalt, from the other side, to help him separate the two. Then in III
1, after Romeo has killed Tybalt, Benvolio pushes him to flee before
he's arrested but stays to face himself and tries to give the
Prince an accurate account of what happened. That's about the extent of
his role in the play, but it's in keeping with his name, which means
"good will." I hope this helped you!
